The audience in Germany and Switzerland was absolutely thrilled by the world famous Greek singer!
In all of the six concerts that Eleftheria Arvanitaki gave in Germany and Switzerland there were smiling people feeling Eleftheria's spell, smiling widely at the end of each concert and keeping their deeply emotional at the one hand and highly enthusiastic mood on the other at equally high levels. In Munich, Stuttgart, Zurich, Cologne, Frankfurt and Berlin Eleftheria Arvanitaki was glorified by the audience!
Her voice "makes the impossible seem possible" i.e. "dynata" - words taken from her international hit, which also named her tour in Germany and Zurich (Switzerland) this November. Eleftheria Arvanitaki has been on top of the modern Greek music scene for more than three decades and she has literally traveled her songs all over the five continents having performed at some of the most important music festivals in the world (Womad, Montreux Jazz Festival, Sfinks, Hemispheres Festival in Sydney, Forum Universal de las Culturas in in Mexico etc.) and at some of the most esteemed venues in the globe (Carnegie Hall, Sidney Opera House, Palau de la Musica Catalana, Royal Festival Hall in London, Herodion Theatre in Athens etc). She is righteously considered one of the most important female world music singers internationally. Her recent concerts were attended not only by German, Swiss and Greeks living abroad but by Austrians, Dutch, Polish and even Romanian people that traveled to Germany just to see her concerts.
Eleftheria along with her band that consists of excellent soloists (Alex Drakos Ktistakis / drums and arrangements, George Georgiadis / bass, Nikos Mermigkas / buzuki, lute, lafta, Dimitris Tsakas / saxophone, Yannis Kyrimkyridis / piano) played some of her greatest hits as well as song of her most recent repertoire, such as "Tin idea stigmi na zume" (i.e. "Let's live the very same moment") - music by Alex Drakos Ktistakis and lyrics by Lida Roumani - which was digitally released in October 2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDGUoV-sXWU
The Swiss awarded actor Bruno Ganz attended Eleftheria's concert in Zurich, while in Berlin the co-leader of the Green part and member of the German parliament Cem Oezdemir was enchanted by Eleftheria's concert and posted at his instagram that her song "Meno Ektos" is his most favorite song ever.
The highly successful tour of Eleftheria Arvanitaki was produced in collaboration with Greece On Tour agency founded and run by Alexandros Karozas.
